Phone Lines

Over the past 12 months Millcroft Medical Centre has seen a unprecedented increase in demand for General Practice services this has meant that we have been experiencing an extremely high volume of calls into the practice daily and have been working hard to meet the increased needs of our patients . Due to the additional pressure of the recent outbreak of Strep A in our community a further increase on demand has resulted in some technical issues with our telephone lines.

Our IT department are looking into this as a matter of urgency to try and rectify the issues.

Test Results

Test results have various different time frames in which they are returned to the practice to be reviewed by a clinician. For example most, but not all, blood test results are generally returned within 72 working hours, however, radiology results such as X-rays and scans can take much longer to be returned. The Practice will only contact you following review of your result if there are further actions that need to be taken, you will not be contacted by the practice if there is no action required on your result
