We are currently inviting people to consider the following studies. If you are interested, please get in touch with us on the numbers below.
- FAST study – Are you aged 60 or over and have a current diagnosis of GOUT? We have a study you may be interested in. This study is comparing two drugs currently used for Gout. http://www.fast-study.co.uk
- The BARACK – D study; if you have been told that you have Chronic Kidney Disease (reduced kidney function) then we may contact you about this study. This study is looking at a potential new treatment for preventing heart disease and kidney damage in people with Chronic Kidney Disease.
- Type II diabetics – starting on the 27th June 2017. This study is being conducted at Kiltearn Medical Centre but patients at Ashfields Primary Care Centre are eligible to take part. You may self-refer or you may receive a letter from Ashfields, on behalf of Kiltearn Medical Centre inviting you to consider the study.
