Test Results

Viewing your results

  • If you are registered with us for online access to your medical record, you may be able to see your results online when the surgery receives them. Please click here to download the NHS APP if you are not registered for the app. (Please bear in mind that if you results look abnormal online, they may be normal for you and there is nothing to worry about but if you are worried about any result you see on your online record, please contact us).
  • Telephone 01270 275200 after 11:00am when the receptionists will be able to pass on the results which have been checked by the doctor.

GP test results come back to the GP

To relieve pressure on the phones we are asking patients NOT to ring in for test results-at all.

No news from the surgery will mean a normal result or a result that requires no further action.

This system will relieve congestion of the phone lines. The Care Navigators will contact you if the GP needs to see you.

The Care Navigators will phone you and if they cannot get hold of you by phone they will write you a letter asking you to contact the surgery to make an appropriate appointment (face-to-face or phone call as decided by the GP). It is imperative that you keep your contact details up-to-date.

Hospital Test Results

Hospital Consultant test results go back to the Hospital Consultant.

Please contact the Hospital Consultant’s Secretary if you wish to chase a hospital-initiated test result- whether that’s a blood test or a scan. We do not automatically get a copy of these results and the requesting Consultant has the responsibility of dealing with those results and communicating an abnormal result to you.
