Appointments

Urgent Appointments

We use a triage system for all urgent appointments. These will be triaged by our Advanced Care Practitioners; they will make sure you are signposted to the right service.

Routine Appointments

Routine appointments can be made up to 2 weeks in advance. Our Care Navigators will ask brief details of your problem. This will help direct you to the most appropriate clinician. Please make sure you let us know when you arrive. You can do this by either the touch screens provided on both sides of the waiting rooms or by speaking to one of our Care Navigators at Reception B.

Extended Hours Appointments

South Cheshire and Vale Royal GPs are now offering extended hours appointments at selected practices which will be known as GP Hubs; these appointments are available to any registered patients from any practice within the boundaries of South Cheshire and Vale Royal.

Please ask your Practice receptionist who can book you an appointment.

Out of Hours

If you need medical advice and our GP practice is closed and it is not a life-threatening emergency, call 111 first where a trained advisor will direct to the most appropriate service for your needs, or click the image below for more information.

Cancelling Appointments

If you cannot keep an appointment, please let us knoow as soon as possible.

Appointments can be cancelled by the following –

  • Your appointment reminder text
  • Via the NHS App
  • by calling us on 01270 275200

Arriving for your appointment

When you arrive for your appointment, please book in at reception, either by telling the receptionist that you have arrived or by using the automated check in screen. If you do use the screen, remember to check that your details shown are correct and which waiting room you are asked to use, A or B.

Please sit in the waiting room and watch the TV screens. When it is your turn to be seen, there will be a “beep” and the display will tell you to which room you should go.

Home Visits

These are made when the patient is housebound or, exceptionally, too ill to attend the surgery.

Please ring the surgery between 9:00am and 10:00am to request a visit. If you ring later, you are less likely to see the doctor of your choice.

Requests made after 11:00am are accepted for that day only if the problem is very urgent. People requesting a visit may be asked to speak to the triage nurse to assess priority and decide the best course of action.

This could include advice only, attending the practice or a home visit.
